

BIOGRAPHY
“There’s something in life that the eye cannot see but the heart can feel,” James Sullivan.

Sullivan’s work is best described as a continuous commentary of his thoughts and concerns about the culture around him. His most recent pieces have been commentaries on the American Dream, Hardship and Forgiveness. Raised in a home divided, James engages in subject matter that is emotional, yet hopeful. He has passion for lost-wax bronze casting. James worked at a foundry as a mold-maker during his college years. He cast his first bronze titled Rescue when he was 19.
Born in 1980, James Sullivan was raised in Amery, WI. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Arts Education from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN. Currently, Sullivan is teaching Art in Cambridge, MN for the past 15 years.
